Don't see what you're looking for?  Want a truly unique menu for your special event?  Edesia's also provide free catering consultations to tailor a menu to your specific wishes and budget.  Does your guest list include someone with dietary restrictions (like a food allergy) or specific dietary preferences (vegetarian/vegan)?  We specialize in accommodating special dietary needs.  Do you want to offer your guests a taste of a specific world or regional cuisine?  With sufficient advance notice, our kitchen staff can special-order hard-to-find ingredients and test recipes to plan a specialized ethnic menu. 


The following are examples of events Edesia's has catered:



  • Vegetarian hors d'oeuvres buffet featuring East Indian foods.

  • An in-home reception for a foreign guest lecturer highlighting American foods - the menu was predominately gluten free (except for a basket of our scratch-made breads) and included cornbread rounds topped with Virginia ham, a pickeled apple and pecan salad, and a pumpkin cheesecake with a pralined-pecan crust.

  • A predominately vegetarian East Indian entree buffet for 150 featuring hand-made naan flatbreads, palak paneer (a spinach stew) that included Edesia's-made fresh milk cheese, raita (a cooling yogurt sauce), dahl (a lentil stew), and chicken masala (a mildly-spiced chicken curry).

  • A Russian-themed hors d'oeuvres buffet that included caviar- and creme fraiche-topped red potatoes, bitokes (Russian meatballs), and eggplant caviar served with our hand-made lavash crackers.

  • An International desserts buffet for 75 people.

  • A wedding day brunch of quiche, fruit, and berry brioche for 15 in Edesia's conference room.

  • A change-of-command ceremony on Ft. Riley - the buffet table included mini pastry and fruit trays for 75 people, as well as a decorated sheet cake featuring a hand-painted plaque of the commander's company insignia.                                                                      
  • For a birthday party hosted at Edesia's after-hours: a build-your-own burrito Tex-Mex buffet featuring pulled cillantro-lime chicken, shredded beef, house-made pico de gallo and guacamole, all the standard burrito fixins, and fresh-fried tortilla chips. 
  • For a Board of Director's annual conference dinner hosted at Edesia's: Southern-style menu with hord d'oeuvre crab cakes and "armadillo eggs", barbecued beef and pork served with three varieties of house-made barbecue sauces, house-made soft rolls, cornbread, greens, all the fixins, as well as pralined-pecan chocolate pie and bourbon-glazed bread pudding for dessert.  The client also arranged for a bluegrass band entertain their guests before and after the meal.
  • In conjunction with Premier Events, a Hollywood-themed Sweet 16 birthday party hosted at Edesia's after hours.  After arriving at the custom-decorated space in limousines, and having their photos snapped by "paparazzi" while walking the red-carpet,  the guests enjoyed California sushi rolls, hand-made croissant "pigs in a blanket", tea sandwiches, chocolate fondue with hand-made marshmallows, brownie bites, and fruit skewers while sipping custom-designed Pomegranatini, Faux-jito, and Raspberry sparkling grape juice mocktails.  The party goers were entertained by a DJ and by a Murder Mystery performance troupe arranged for by Premier Events.
